Pamela Love

Pamela Love é uma designer nova-iorquina, que, em 2006, decidiu começar a sua própria linha de joalheria. Lembram-se de ter falado nela e nas heel cuffs? Pois bem, decidi mostrar-vos o porquê de ter ficado tão entusiasmada...

Para quem não sabe, esta designer já colaborou com designers como Marchesa, Twenty8Twelve, Yigal Azrouel, Frank Tell, e Zac Posen. Também trabalhou Spike Jonze para criar uma linha inspirada no filme "Where the Wild Things Are" ("O Sítio das Coisas Selvagens"), e ainda fez a joalheria usada na famosa série de TV, "True Blood".

E como eu acho que as peças que ela faz são fantásticas, vou mostrar-vos alguns "miminhos" que adoro.

Pamela Love is a New York native designer, that, in 2006, decided to start her own jewelry line. Remember when I've spoke about her and the heel cuffs? Well, I decided to show you why I got so excited...
For those who don't know, this designer has collaborated with designers such as Marchesa, Twenty8Twelve, Yigal Azrouel, Frank Tell, and Zac Posen. She also worked Spike Jonze to create a jewelry line inspired by his film “Where The Wild Things Are,” and has also produced custom jewelry for the hit TV show, True Blood.
And as I think the pieces that she makes are amazing, I'm going to show you some "treats" that I adore.

Summer Music Festival looks

6 de Junho de 2004 deu início àquele que viria a ser o meu "ritual" de Verão; nesse dia fui, pela primeira vez, a um festival de Verão. A partir daí tornou-se quase uma obrigação a ida a pelo menos um dia de qualquer que fosse o festival.

Mas foi em 2009 que fiquei com o bichinho do TMN Sudoeste, o meu festival de eleição.

E depois deste pequeno flashback, vamos voltar ao assunto inicial: looks para os festivais de Verão. (Sim, eu sei que já venho um bocadinho atrasada, mas o SW é só em Agosto... ;) )

Antes de mais, deixo-vos uma lista das coisas que tento ter em conta quando o assunto é festivais de Verão:

1. Conforto: casacos para as noites frias, carteiras ou mochilas para levar a tralha essencial, e calçado que não aleije.
2. Protecção: óculos de Sol, protector solar com pelo SPF 30 e chapéu - SEMPRE!
3. Se for acampar, o ideal é repetir algumas peças de roupa. Malas cheias de tralha estão fora de questão.
4. MUITO BOA DISPOSIÇÃO! :D

E agora sim, os looks que criei para vocês no Polyvore.

On June 6, 2004 began one who would become my summer "ritual"; that was my first day at a summer festival. From then on it became almost an obligation to go to at least one day of a festival.

But 2009 was the year that I was bitten by the TMN Sudoeste "bug", my favorite summer festival.

And after this little flashback, let's go back the the first topic: outfits for music festivals. (I'm a bit late, since one of them is already over, but SW is only in August... ;) )

First of all, I leave you a list of things I try to remember when it comes to summer festivals:

1. Comfort: jackets for cold nights, bags or backpacks to take the essentials, and shoes that don't hurt.
2. Protection: sun glasses, sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and a hat - ALWAYS!
3. If I go camping, the ideal is to repeat some pieces of clothing. Suitcases full of stuff are out of question.
4. LOTS OF GOOD VIBES! :D

Animal jewelry

Eu confesso: sou "apanhada" por jóias e bijuteria com animais. Não sei se é a minha paixão por animais que me faz adorar de morte, mas já tenho algumas peças e estou sempre à procura de mais.

Alfinetes, aneis, pulseiras, fios pequeninos amorosos... Há tantas coisas bonitas.

I confess: I'm crazy for jewelry and accessories with animals. Don't know if it's my passion for animals that makes me love it to death, but I already have some pieces and I'm always searching for more.

Quem é que nunca ouviu falar da lojinha Knutsy?

São capazes de já ter lido qualquer coisa pela blogosfera. Mas bom, para quem nunca ouviu e nem desconfia de que é que estou a falar, vou primeiro deixar-vos umas fotos, e daqui a nada já falamos... ;)

Digam lá se não são todos lindos, perfeitos para o Verão?

E estes são só alguns exemplos das coisas amorosas que as meninas da Knutsy podem criar para nós. Até sapatilhas elas conseguem personalizar. :)
